1.T1 Ash, to reduce ivy by 50%
2.The ivy is not covered by the TPO process therefore permission is not required for this work.
3.It is recommended that these Ash trees T1 as shown on the Havering TPO plan 14/90 can be crown reduced by no more than 2m from the tip to an inter-nodal branch break to leave the tree balanced, crown lifted 5m and thinned 10%. T3 can be crown lifted 5m.
4.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out as an overall reduction, so that the tree's crown remains balanced. Reason: To ensure that the tree's stability is maintained and in the interests of public amenity.
5.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out to the standards detailed in British Standard Document BS 3998:2010. Reason: To ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with good arboricultural practice.
6.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out within 2 years from the date of this consent. Reason: To prevent the accumulation of consents.
7.Anyone who takes, damages or destroys the nest of any wild bird whilst that nest is in use or being built is guilty of an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and prior to commencing work you should ensure that no nesting birds will be affected.
8.Please note that if the work for which consent is granted is not carried out within 2 years of the date of this letter, it will be necessary to submit a fresh application if it is intended to implement the work.
9.The applicant is advised that if you wish to carry out further works to the above tree[s] you will need to obtain our further consent.
