| 2. | That the Cedar tree for which consent for removal is granted shall be replaced by a tree from one of the following groups:
Cedar tree - Cedrus species.
Monkey puzzle - Araucaria Araucana.
Norway Spruce - Picea abies species.
This should be a minimum of a half-standard sapling when ordered and planted within the same location that the Cedar Tree was removed from, but not the exact original location. this should be within the first available planting season (November to March) following the removal of the original tree. Failure to plant the replacement tree as required can lead to enforcement action.
THE APPLICANT SHALL NOTIFY THE LOCAL PLANNING AUTHORITY IN WRITING WITHIN TWO MONTHS OF THE PLANTING BEING CARRIED OUT, SO THAT THE REPLACEMENT TREE CAN BE INSPECTED.
