1.Removal of deadwood.
2.Where there is deadwood with in the canopy of the tree, there is no requirement to gain permission to remove this, but this is covered as a notification that work is intended to remove deadwood from the trees.
3.It is recommended that these three trees can be pruned as follows; T1- Cedar- ( Next to 4 Freeman Way T1 - TPO 1/99) can be overall crown reduced by 2m, to clear lamp column and crown thin by 10%, from the tip to an inter-nodal branch break to leave the tree balanced. T2- Pinus- ( Next to 5 Freeman way T4 - TPO 1/99 ) can be crown lifted to remove small lowest two branches towards the Highway and 5 Freemanway, up to 4m, and overall crown reduced by 2m, from the tip to an inter-nodal branch break to leave the tree balanced. T3- Cedar (In the rear Garden) identified as T51 of Havering's TPO 19/72 can be overall crown reduced by 2.5m, from the tip to an inter-nodal branch break to leave the tree balanced.
4.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out to the standards detailed in British Standard Document BS 3998:2010. Reason: To ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with good arboricultural practice.
5.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out as an overall reduction, so that the tree's crown remains balanced. Reason: To ensure that the tree's stability is maintained and in the interests of public amenity.
6.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out within 2 years from the date of this consent. Reason: To prevent the accumulation of consents.
7.It is suggested that you engage the services of a qualified and fully insured tree surgeon to carry out the above work on your behalf (you should ask to see the contractor's insurance certificate and make sure that it is up to date).
8.Please note that if the work for which consent is granted is not carried out within 2 years of the date of this letter, it will be necessary to submit a fresh application if it is intended to implement the work.
