1.It is recommended that this oak tree T1 as shown on the Havering TPO plan 18/05 can be overall crown reduced by up to 3m from the tip to an inter-nodal branch break to leave the tree balanced to previous pruning points and crown thinned by up to 30% and crown lifted 5m. The lowest limb over the garden growing in an westerly direction can be removed at source, and the branch on the other side of the tree reduced in line with the rest of the canopy. The Horse Chestnut tree T2 can be crown lifted 5m over the carparking area and crown reduced by up to 2m and crown thinned 15% to allow more natural light in to the garden.
2.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out to the standards detailed in British Standard Document BS 3998:2010. Reason: To ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with good arboricultural practice.
3.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out as an overall reduction, so that the tree's crown remains balanced. Reason: To ensure that the tree's stability is maintained and in the interests of public amenity.
4.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out within 2 years from the date of this consent. Reason: To prevent the accumulation of consents.
