1.It is recommended that the Yew tree T1 as shown on the Havering TPO plan 19/05 can be crown lifted 3m to reduce the overhang and the branch length shortened by up to 1.5 m to leave the tree balanced. The reaming trees identified as requiring work are with in the grounds of Queenswood Lodge and this is within Gidea Park Conservation Area can have the works completed as below, A) Fell Prunus on Left hand side of property, to be replaced with another specimen tree in the main lawn, as the tree has root plate heave. B) Reduce by 1m and crown lift Sycamore by 3m at front left hand side of property. C) Remove Privet hedge to stumps. D) Fell small Holly and Pine on left hand side to give other pines more room. E) To Crown lift all Pines on left hand side to 2m to allow grass cutting. F) to fell small planted yew on left hand side rear. G) To fell small Holly on right hand side to allow others to grow.
2.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out to the standards detailed in British Standard Document BS 3998:2010. Reason: To ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with good arboricultural practice.
3.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out as an overall reduction, so that the tree's crown remains balanced. Reason: To ensure that the tree's stability is maintained and in the interests of public amenity.
4.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out within 2 years from the date of this consent. Reason: To prevent the accumulation of consents.
