1.It is recommended that these tree that stand to the rear of Whistlers, 38 Balgores Lane, which is in the Gidea Park Conservation Arae can have the following works completed, 1)Trim Hornbeam hedge only beside the garage at the rear to a height of approximately 2 - 3m 2)Remove unknown fir tree at rear of garage which is dead. 3)Reduce only height of overgrown holly tree by 50%. 4)Remove dead tree trunk, possibly privet, situated on rear bed at back. 5)Reduce only and trim overgrown wild yellow plum tree. 6)Reduce only and trim second overgrown wild yellow plum tree both situated on rear bed in back garden. 7)Reduce and trim overgrown Hawthorn tree to a height of 2m. 8)Reduce hazel in middle of lawn, coppicing as a high pollard to a height of between 1.5 - 2m. 9)Reduce Privet hedge on right hand side boundary by approximately 600mm. 10)Reduce and thin Cherry Plum tree on right hand side, which is approximately 3m from patio.
2.It is suggested that you engage the services of a qualified and fully insured tree surgeon to carry out the above work on your behalf (you should ask to see the contractor's insurance certificate and make sure that it is up to date).
3.Please note that if the work for which consent is granted is not carried out within 2 years of the date of this letter, it will be necessary to submit a fresh application if it is intended to implement the work.
