1.It is recommended that the removal of poor specimen cherry trees in the centre of the wooded area and poor specimen cherry trees near two small groups of cherries that sit back, these approximately 8-10m from the lamp column 23. The cherry trees to be removed are in decline or are tall weak spindly growth (Lions tail) and also removal of small Elm trees against the side fence dividing the site from the remaining part of the wooded area on Haverings TPO 6/95 and is shown as as area A1, can be felled.
2.The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out within 2 years from the date of this consent. Reason: To prevent the accumulation of consents.
3.It is suggested that you engage the services of a qualified and fully insured tree surgeon to carry out the above work on your behalf (you should ask to see the contractor's insurance certificate and make sure that it is up to date).
4.Having considered the particular circumstances of the case and the position of the trees for which consent to fell has been granted the Council has decided that it will not be necessary to replace the trees.
