| 2. | Where there is dead wood with in the canopy of a tree, there is no requirement to gain permission to remove this, but this is covered as a notification that work is intended to remove dead wood from the T4 Horse Chestnut tree shown on Havering's TPO 5/98. |
| 3. | It is recommended that these Trees T4. Horse Chestnut, can be crown thinned 20% and balanced to retain its shape. Tree T11. Robinia, can be crown reduced by no more than 2m from the tip to an inter-nodal branch break to leave the tree balanced.

| 4. | That the tree T10. Horse Chestnut for which consent for removal is granted shall be replaced by one of the following species; Silver birch, Acer platanoides, or Tulip tree, this needs to be a heavy-standard container grown, 12-14 cm girth and planted where this tree has been removed from.
Within the first available planting season (November to March) following the removal of the original tree. Failure to plant the replacement tree as required can lead to enforcement action.
THE APPLICANT SHALL NOTIFY THE LOCAL PLANNING AUTHORITY IN WRITING WITHIN TWO MONTHS OF THE PLANTING BEING CARRIED OUT, SO THAT THE REPLACEMENT TREE CAN BE INSPECTED.

| 5. | Having considered the particular circumstances of the case and the position of the Sweet chestnut tree T14 for which consent to fell has been granted the Council has decided that it will not be necessary to replace the tree. |
| 6. | The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out as an overall reduction, so that the tree's crown remains balanced.
Reason:
To ensure that the tree's stability is maintained and in the interests of public amenity. |
| 7. | The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out to the standards detailed in British Standard Document BS 3998:2010.
Reason:
To ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with good arboricultural practice. |
| 8. | The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out within 2 years from the date of this consent.
Reason:
To prevent the accumulation of consents. |
| 9. | The applicant is advised that if you wish to carry out further works to the above tree[s] you will need to obtain our further consent. |
