1.	The works within this application have been refused as no measurements have been included for the proposed works to T1 Beech. It is recommended that a further application is submitted including the measurements, so the suitability of the works can be determined against industry guidance, as set out in BS 3998:2010. The works requested for T2 and T3 are unsuitable for these species and therefore it would be inappropriate to grant consent as this would be detrimental to the overall appearance and contribution to visual amenity of these trees. Furthermore, there is insufficient justification provided for the works requested to T2 and T3.
2.	You should comply with British Standard No. 3998 'Recommendations for Tree Work' a copy of which can be inspected at this office. You are advised that the work should be undertaken by a competent and suitably qualified tree contractor.
