1.It is recommended that these two apple trees which are situated in the rear garden of 25 Squirrels Heath Avenue and is within the Gidea Park Conservation Area, these two apple trees are to the bottom left hand side of the rear garden, approximately 13m and 6m from the rear garage access, these works can be carried out as follows, 1. The dead tree is 15ft high with a trunk diameter of 10 inches. The dead tree is being eaten away on the inside by pests and is now unstable. The tree needs removal to prevent danger of falling. 2. The second apple tree which is 12ft high and 9 inches in diameter needs pruning to reduce the crown height, encourage new growth and fruit production.
2.It is suggested that you engage the services of a qualified and fully insured tree surgeon to carry out the above work on your behalf (you should ask to see the contractor's insurance certificate and make sure that it is up to date).
3.Please note that if the work for which consent is granted is not carried out within 2 years of the date of this letter, it will be necessary to submit a fresh application if it is intended to implement the work.
