| 2. | Where there is deadwood with in the canopy of the tree, there is no requirement to gain permission to remove it, but this is covered as a notification that work is intended to remove deadwood from the Horse chestnut trees. |
| 3. | It is recommended that the Horse Chestnuts T4 and T5 can be overall crown reduced by up to 2-3m from the tip to an inter-nodal branch break to leave the trees balanced with pruning cuts no larger than 80mm, The Ash tree with multiple fungal brackets on the stem can be removed. |
| 4. | The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out to the standards detailed in British Standard Document BS 3998:2010.

| 5. | The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out as an overall reduction, so that the tree's crown remains balanced.

To ensure that the tree's stability is maintained and in the interests of public amenity. |
| 6. | The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out within 2 years from the date of this consent.
Reason:
To prevent the accumulation of consents. |
| 7. | Having considered the particular circumstances of the case and the position of the Ash tree for which consent to fell has been granted the Council has decided that it will not be necessary to replace the tree. |
