| 1. | It is recommended that this Silver birch tree tree T2 as shown on the Havering TPO plan 05/05 can be crown reduced by no more than 1.5m from the tip to an inter-nodal branch break to leave the tree balanced, and crown lifted 3m, so as to reduce the amount of overhang to the proposed redevelopment.
It is recommended that the Sycamore tree T1 as shown on the Havering TPO plan 05/05 that stands in the far left hand corner in the rear garden of 171a Moor Lane. This Sycamore tree can be felled, the other side of the brick built out building there is a Acer psudoplatanus 'Brilliantissimum' which is more centrally towards the original garden of 171a Moor Lane, and is an ideal location and replacement for the felled Sycamore tree. |
| 2. | The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out to the standards detailed in British Standard Document BS 3998:2010.
Reason:
To ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with good arboricultural practice. |
| 3. | It is suggested that you engage the services of a qualified and fully insured tree surgeon to carry out the above work on your behalf (you should ask to see the contractor's insurance certificate and make sure that it is up to date). |
| 4. | The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out as an overall reduction, so that the tree's crown remains balanced.
Reason:
To ensure that the tree's stability is maintained and in the interests of public amenity. |
| 5. | The work for which consent is granted shall be carried out within 2 years from the date of this consent.
Reason:
To prevent the accumulation of consents. |
| 6. | That the tree for which consent for removal is granted shall be replaced by the Acer pseudoplatanus 'Brilliantissimum' which sits on the right hand side of the brick built out building at the bottom of the garden.
Reason:
In the interests of public amenity and to enable the Council to update its records. |
