| 1. | The tree's that are subject to this application are situated to the front and rear of 4 Gidea Avenue which is within the Gidea Park Conservation Area, there are four leylandii conifers on the left hand side of the front drive that are outgrowing their location that can be felled, on the far right hand side in the rear garden there is a large Leylandii with extensive die back in the crown which can be felled, the Magnolia grandiflora is centrally in the rear garden on the boundary to Highland Apartments, Main Road, can have the canopy growing towards 4 Gidea Avenue cut back to reduce the overhang to the garden. On the left hand flank of the garden there are three Conifers that are impinging on the garage of 6 Gidea Avenue that can be felled.+ |
| 2. | It is suggested that you engage the services of a qualified and fully insured tree surgeon to carry out the above work on your behalf (you should ask to see the contractor's insurance certificate and make sure that it is up to date). |
| 3. | Please note that if the work for which consent is granted is not carried out within 2 years of the date of this letter, it will be necessary to submit a fresh application if it is intended to implement the work. |
| 4. | You should comply with British Standard No. 3998 'Recommendations for Tree Work' a copy of which can be inspected at this office. You are advised that the work should be undertaken by a competent and suitably qualified tree contractor. |
