| Proposal | As part of the reconfiguration of the Emergency Department at Queens Hospital, Romford, the following works are proposed:
1. New Infill Area to the current Maternity Ward to form a new Main Entrance Area for the Emergency
Departments.
2. New Rooftop plantroom and chiller enclosure for the Emergency Department plus associated duct and pipe
runs with maintenance access pathways, handrails and lighting, duct step-overs, companion-way ladders
and edge protection.
3. Minor changes to the ground floor facade of the existing envelope of the Emergency Department- to infill the existing A&E entrance and create a limited number of new door/ window openings. |
