ProposalCedar T1 to west of 2 The Lodge, Hornchuch Road (See Attached Plan) Remove the partially broken hanging branches throughout the canopy including the branches hanging down and obscuring street lamp post and road sign Reduce several over extended lateral branches including limb over St Leonards Way highway to the east by no more than 3m leaving a minimum radial extent of canopy at 5m Remove dead pruning stubs left from previous reduction. Undertake climbing inspection to check unions on branches not visible from ground level Remove deadwood and lightly thin secondary growth as appropriate by no more than 20% focussing on reducing end weight on longer lateral branches. This thinning work is not intended to remove any main branches. Works intended to reduce risk of further limb failure and improve long term value of this tree. All works to be undertaken to BS3998 (2010) The proposed works are required due to the condition of the tree but we do not consider that a separate Arboricultural Report is required due to the nature of the work and the experience any qualifications of the tree consultant (agent) who has viewed the tree.
